Art-Test wins Technology and Innovation Prize (Premio Vespucci) with the Multilayer Method

Art-Test's patent on "Multilayer Method" won the first prize among about 200 candidates, because "it proved to be crucial for conservators' work, who, in this way, may study the various surface layers, in a non invasive way. It is a high tech solution which contributes to the development of a sector, that of cultural heritage, which is crucial for the Tuscan economy system", as the official note reads.

Premio Vespucci is a competition organized by the Consiglio Regionale della Toscana and Confindustria Toscana, in collaboration with the Federazione Regionale dei Cavalieri del Lavoro della Toscana, Ente Cassa di Risparmio di Firenze and Firenze Tecnologia.
