Scientific investigation on Peter de Witte (Volterra, Italy)

Art-Test with its reflectography scanner Vis-IR, investigated the 3 large works of Peter de Witte, a Flemish artist who lived in the XVI century, which are now to be seen at the exposition in Volterra (from the 31st May till 8th November 2009)
The curators chose to draw attention on some of the disputed questions regarding the attribution of the paintings, by using Art-Test innovative technology, which enables visitors to get a glimpse of what is "behind the works"
